What is Calcium Propionate Powder?

It is the calcium salt of propionic acid, known generally as E282, a non-toxic organic preservative that is of fundamental importance to the food and feed sectors.

Characteristics of Industrial Use Property

It has the usual little smell of propionic acid that is hardly perceptible in the completed product. It is highly soluble in water, which permits facile inclusion into aqueous systems and dough matrices.
